Personal Description:
As well as freelancing all over the UK, including playing in the West End, I am a first violinist in the Ulster Orchestra and moved to Belfast a year ago. I teach violin from beginner level through to professional, and I teach piano from beginner to grade 8.
Tutoring Experience:
I've taught piano and violin in the past to all ages and abilities, and have had experience tutoring the first violin section in the National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain, all with positive results and feedback from the pupils themselves. I also was a deputy tutor at the Junior Department at the Royal Academy of Music.
Tutoring Approach:
My approach to music tuition is personal to each pupil, depending on how they work and what exactly they want to improve/learn. The last thing I want to do is to make it boring or more difficult than it needs to be!
