Personal Description:
I’ve been playing piano for 43yrs and teaching for over 25yrs with 100% examination pass rate.
I pride myself on being a relaxed and encouraging tutor. I take time to get to know my students & always aim to provide them with a fun place to learn piano & music theory.
I’m also a composer of music for film & TV.
Tutoring Experience:
I have over 25yrs teaching experience.
I teach online now since the pandemic & have students up and down the country.
Tutoring Approach:
Extremely relaxed; the priority is fun.
I don’t insist students sit examinations but if they do, I am an approved applicant with the ABRSM.
We work through a series of tutor method books and as the ability develops we add repertoire that’s of interesting to the student at a working level. Pop, classical, musical theatre.
