Personal Description:
Hello, my name is Amro Salah, I'm a professional Pianist, composer and music instructor for Piano & Theory. Holder of the PTC Certificate. I teach the UK examination boards grades (ABRSM & Trinity) in addition to casual teaching for all ages. In addition, I provide a special music training for the (11+) music aptitude exam with lots of resources that I created especially for this test.
Apart from teaching I'm also the founder and director of Cairo International Jazz Festival since 2009.
My professional career has been quite interesting and thrilling with hundreds of live performances, tours, recordings, festivals and many other interesting things.
I started as a classical pianist, however I became more interested in many other styles, such as Jazz, Latin, Rock and Pop in a thrilling yet exciting music journey.
I've written many songs and scores for singers, films and TV. Grand-Prix award winner twice from Cairo song festival 1998, 2000

I believe in a holistic approach in teaching music. Music is part of nature and is connected to everything else in life around us and should never be limited only to notes and rigid theory. I'll be taking you on an exciting journey to explore together the magic of music making from a different approach. Your music level will greatly improve when you have a good understanding about many different styles around, which will reflect on your composing, improvising and shaping up a healthy music personality.

He is someone who has vast experience in composition and performance, he has experience of playing with other musicians and is able to create a sense of organic musical discovery in lessons that feels natural and intuitive.
I am incredibly grateful to have Amro as a teacher and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an inspiring and exciting way to learn piano.
It is also very refreshing to learn from someone who has learned the Piano abroad- it enables you to realise the power of music as an international language.
