Personal Description:

I am a trained teacher (primary), though have taught all ages.
I have taught piano to various pupils, including preparing them for piano exams.

Tutoring Experience:

Teaching since 1989, music, languages, primary and adult ed.

Tutoring Approach:

I take my cue from the pupil - more formal - ie learning scales and arpeggios etc if they are wanting to prepare for exams, but also have some pupils who just want to enjoy learning to play music of their choice.
I have wide musical tastes myself, and have a variety of instruments at home as my children have played lots of instruments between them!
My main object is to make lessons fun and interesting and to share my love of music as well as the benefits it can bring to other areas of life.
