Information About Alfie - Durham teacher

Personal Description:

My name's Alfie. I'm a Passionate music fan currently studying at Durham University and have been playing guitar since I was ten years old. I've always been been regularly gigging and teaching since my early teenage years which has made a positive impact on my life that is hard to put into words. In 2020 I obtained a Grade 8 qualification in Rock and Pop guitar playing from Trinity College London, this the highest level qualification they offer.

Tutoring Experience:

During my time at secondary school I was the main instructor at the guitar club, an after school club hosted by the music department. Now that I've moved to Durham I'm looking to take on a whole new cohort of students. I have experience teaching songs by Queen, The Kings of Leon, Coldplay, Oasis, Sam Fender, Foo Fighters, The Killers, Green Day, Nirvana, The Cure, The Smiths, Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The White Stripes, Harry Styles, Paramore, Tame Impala, Hozier, Declan McKenna, Blur, David Bowie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Eric Clapton, Pulp, Foals, Fleetwood Mac, Fall Out Boy, Panic! I want to help you become the guitarist that you want to be. Whether you're into modern pop hits, rock classics, indie, funk, metal , folk, punk, grunge or anything else, I can teach you to perform all your favourite songs. By taking your taste into account, I will thoughtfully introduce you to new techniques in the context of your most loved tunes.
