Personal Description:
Full-time professional performer, arranger, editor and teacher of music. I've played in venues and theatres throughout Europe, contributed to hundreds of sheet music titles, authored three tuition method books and once built a Ukulele out of a Quality Street tin!
Tutoring Experience:
Worked in primary and secondary schools as a classroom and instrumental teacher, band leader and musical director. Taught piano, bass, guitar and ukulele for independent music schools in the UK and Australia. Independent home tutor.
Tutoring Approach:
Always base learning around what the student wants to play, keeping all material relevant and fun whilst challenging skills and striving to improve every step of the way. Learning must always be enjoyable ;-)
