Personal Description:

Hello. I am a professional and experienced drum teacher based in Sunderland with a passion for music and the drums. Over the last ten years, I’ve gained experience as a drummer and percussionist performing at various events across the UK including festivals and private functions and regularly perform in numerous venues as part of a function band. I have recently completed a PGCE PCET at Sunderland University and a Music BA (Hons) degree the year prior and have a Grade 8 certificate in drums.

Tutoring Experience:

I’ve taught drums on a one to one and group basis from beginner to expert level for over five years to students of all ages. Alongside drum tuition, I've taught Samba drums to a group with a varied age range and technical ability.

Tutoring Approach:

I aim to deliver lessons in an enjoyable way that will greatly help students progress and achieve their goals. The lessons will be tailored to the student's requirements whether that be reading music, learning a variety of styles or simply playing for fun. I can also work with students on graded examinations.
