Information About Alba - Huddersfield teacher

Personal Description:

Hello!
I achieved my degree in Flute Pedagogy in Esmuc (Barcelona, 2012) where I come from. During those years I have played classical music but also jazz and contemporary music. Currently I am studying for a Masters in Contemporary Music Performance at the University of Huddersfield.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching flute to children from 7 years old to adults, in individual and group lessons, in music schools and in priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons at home. I have also participated in different pedagogical projects (workshops in primary schools and concerts). I enjoyed a lot all this experiences and I learned a lot from them!

Tutoring Approach:

In priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons I try to adapt myself to the student looking for the best way to achieve his or her goals. I also believe that playing with others is a very important aspect during the learning process, so I use CD's and also myself (playing the flute or the piano) as accompaniment.
I always have in mind that after every lesson the student has to be able to talk about what he or she has learned. Being aware about the steps we take during a learning process makes it clearer and stronger.
