Personal Description:

I play British and North American tunes and songs on 5-string banjo, in clawhammer, two-finger and bluegrass styles. I can teach you how to play Dueling Banjos in a safe environment! If you don't own a banjo you can try out one of mine (lesson only). I also teach acoustic/folk guitar, with an emphasis on country and fingerpicking. Or if you want to strum along with the Beatles, Pink Floyd or Oasis then I can help you with that.

Tutoring Experience:

A lot of experience as a performer and a teacher. Have been teaching on a paying basis since 2016.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach in whatever way someone wants to be taught, at whatever speed they want to go. We can use sheet music, tabs, or learning by ear.
