Information About Adam - Glasgow teacher

Personal Description:

I am a Masters graduate in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, studying in the class of Jan Michels. Alongside performing, teaching is my greatest passion and I’ve been teaching piano for nine years now. Before moving to Brussels, I studied my Bachelors in Edinburgh and took part in Masterclasses at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, the Royal Northern College of Music, and the Talent Academy in Verona. I’ve gained invaluable insights from renowned pianists such as Fali Pavri, Graeme McNaught, Simon Coverdale, BingBing Li, Norma Fisher, Murray McLachlan, Craig Sheppard and Petras Geniusas. It’s my pleasure to pass these on. My upcoming PhD will focus on instrumental tuition and performance, with a particular focus on the piano.

Tutoring Experience:

I have nine years of experience working as a private and visiting piano teacher at schools and academies in Central Scotland, and more recently in Brussels, Belgium.

Tutoring Approach:

I’m a passionate teacher who enjoys developing strategies to suit the needs and temperament of each individual student. One size does not fit all when it comes to music and the piano, and I derive a lot of satisfaction from passing on my knowledge and creating a path forwards for those I teach.
