My name is Adam and I am a guitarist with over 20 years playing and recording experience. I am a patient and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for both music and education.

In 1997, I became a runner-up in Guitarist magazine's 'Young Guitarist of the Year' competition and went on to study at the BRIT School of Performing Arts. I was awarded the Paul Smith memorial prize for best achieved in music and attained a grade 8 distinction in guitar. I have written and toured my own music, ranging from acoustic fingerstyle to prog rock and metal.

I teach over 50 pupils a week and have students of all ages from 6 to 60. Many of my students have gone on to study music at college and degree level and are actively playing in bands and gigging regularly. Some have even gone on to building their own teaching careers.

My aim is to help you quickly develop in all areas of your playing, as well as towards your own personal goals, be it learning a favourite song or passing your Grade 8 exam.

My lessons are tailored to suit the individual's taste and requirements and I try to recommend that students incorporate a grading syllabus into their learning as well as building a repertoire of songs.
