Personal Description:

I am a tutor and have been for close to 20 years now. I trust the communicative approach with a strong emphasis on language skills development and use. The skills being receptive and production skills guarantee results in language acquisition and ultimately above average competence in the languages.

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught in several countries namely Zimbabwe, Botswana and Tanzania. My candidates are of different nationalities and creed and from all walks of life. I have tutored children as young as 4 years old and had the opportunity to work with ambassadors and other officials.
I am well versed in different examening bodies like :
SAT
TOEFL
TOEIC
IELTS
IEB
IGCSE and
DELF/ DALF.
I have prepared many a candidate for the above examinations with success.

Tutoring Approach:

Every learner has a unique learning style of which I make it my mission to identify it and guide the learner to behavioral change. As an educator I understand that the most effective learning occurs in an environment where the learner is comftoble and under no duress. I therefore propose a communicative approach in which the learners interests are at the core of material used so the candidate produces the required tasks with minimum strain. Learners are continuously assessed
and evaluated and encouraged to make mistakes enroute to perfection. The four language skills are the corner stones of my approach, these beinf listening which leads to speaking, reading which leads to writing and then intertwining them for a well rounded canfidate.
