Personal Description:
Hi! I'm a small-town girl, just starting out my career in the beautiful Boland. I love reading, learning, being creative and working with children. Having a degree in the Mathematical Sciences I think its obvious that I have a special love for numbers!
Tutoring Experience:
While studying I tutored at Master Maths in Stellenbosch on and of for 2 years. There I worked with children from all ages, at all levels of capability.
Tutoring Approach:
The key to tutoring kids (especially in Maths) is patience and teaching every student the importance of practice, knowing your fundamental principles by heart and staying confident and positive. I try to involve the parents as much as possible and making sure everyone's expectations are being met. I believe that a student and a tutor should work together towards improvement. The lesson should not be one-sided.
