Information About Siyonela - Bettiesdam tutor

Personal Description:

I’m Siyonela, specializing with Mathematics for both primary and senior secondary school learners. Doing my final year in BSc at UFH in Biochemistry and Microbiology. Mathematics is a subject I feel entirely confident in, and this reflected in my ability to teach in a simple, yet highly effective manner to cater for students of all standards and abilities. I enjoy being around young people, and having a discussion with like-minded people about anything related to elementary teaching. I fully understand the school's mission and believe that my personality and skills put me in the right position to help create a stimulating learning environment.

Tutoring Experience:

I've availed myself several times as a tutor from the past 3 years, I volunteered a lot of time in tutoring mathematics from grade 08 to grade 12. My work shows a great improvement as I have feedbacks from parents of my tutees complementing and give thanks about how transformed life of their children's have been influenced by my teaching tactics and my teaching guides.

Tutoring Approach:

Taking all the challenges of my tutees(topics). In teaching I do not move in a fast speed leaving our tutees not understanding and also explain different ways in which question can be approached using any relevant syllabus textbooks and question from previous question paper necessary. Allow class engagements and discussions. Test before we even commence with classes so as to check where maybe the child is struggling and give easy ways by teaching him/her based on what he/she does not understand. Teaching and after a week give my tutees work to do based on the topics I've taught in class. Setting up online test and mark the scripts so as for them to see their performance. My lessons are online and physical but for physical they differ as to where are you located if we can reach.
