Personal Description:

I am a self-taught pure mathematician. I have taken undergraduate courses in applied and pure mathematics in which I performed very well. I find joy in doing mathematics and thinking abstractly. I have great analytical, constructive, contextual, conceptual, and reasoning skills. In some of my work, I link concepts from different domains, which I think it's a very rare ability. I am much of a theoretician however I do take applications into consideration.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored since 2018 Feb (Calculus I). I have received great results from most of the tutees. This is in terms of understanding, independent thinking and problem solving skills.

Tutoring Approach:

The strategy of my tutoring is focusing on the theory before application, sometimes relying on intuition and real life examples to improve understanding of concepts. In complicated problems, I use basic or rather general cases, once a student is comfortable, we then can focus on complicated problems. I offer different examples of the same concept in order to familiarize the student to different scenarios of a concept.
