Personal Description:

I am a passionate Mathematics and Technology teacher. I studied a Bachelor of Education degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. I completed my degree with 7 dean's commendations and 21 Certificate of Merits. Moreover, I was awarded the overall first position in 2020 and 2022 (Dean's special awards). Furthermore, I believe teaching is about scaffolding the learner to new Mathematical knowledge and sklls.

Tutoring Experience:

At university, I tutored two modules at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. I tutored Mathematics Education for Senior Phase 4, i.e.
Statistics and Probability (EDMA 323); and Primary Mathematics Education (EDMA
311). Furthermore, I taught at two secondary schools (During my teaching practice) for a duration of two terms. Moreover, I privately tutored Grade 11 Mathematics.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in interactive teaching. The learners have to construct meaning of the content for themselves as opposed to ro**Contact Detail Removed**arning. As a tutor, I believe I can guide learners to this knowledge.
