Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Shahnaaz. I am a kind and warm-hearted person with the patience and drive to help. I am here to put my teaching and tutoring experience to use. Teaching is more than just a profession to me, it is my passion. It is my main objective to educate and part knowledge. Making a difference in at least 1 child's life would mean a great deal to me. Aside from teaching and tutoring, I enjoy being crafty, reading and baking.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a Bachelors's Degree in Education, specialising in the Early Childhood Development and Foundation Phase. My exposure to teaching includes over 5 years of in-class experience with children between the ages of 5 and 10. I was also committed to a remedial class for those learners who needed extra assistance.
Within my years of academic teaching, I was also given the opportunity to teach Islamic classes, and with that, I had gained experience in the Islamic Education field.
My specialisation age gap lies within the ECD and Foundation Phase - that being grade 1, 2, and 3.

Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring approach and style is both kind and patient. Having worked with children, it is important to showcase both kindness and patience.
Tuition takes place over the online platform, Zoom, as I feel it is user-friendly and highly interactive. The learners get to experience and participate in an innovative method of tuition.
