Personal Description:
I am a full time teacher at a public, all girls high school. Afrikaans is my home language. I am friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. I want to help people as much as I possibly can. I love exploring new places within my hometown and learning more about our South African cities and their history.
Tutoring Experience:
I am a full time teacher at a high school. I teach Afrikaans to grade 8, 9, 11 & 12. My first four years of teaching I also taught grade 10 Afrikaans. I am familiar with CAPS (working at a public school). I also have a good understanding of IEB as I have been tutoring learners from private schools since my 2nd year of studying.
I also teach History to grade 8 & 9.
Tutoring Approach:
I aim to help learners with Afrikaans First Additional Language. I try to incorporate as much as I can from their world into Afrikaans to make it more relatable.
