Personal Description:

I am Patricia I was born and raised in Mpumalanga (Nelspruit), I am a 25 year old student studying at the University of South Africa. I'm currently doing my Bachelor of education degree in senior and FET phase majoring in Mathematics and English. I'm a hard worker, I commit myself fully in whatever it is that I do although I live in an area where not much opportunities are given but I believe I got the skills and knowledge which I can impart to another individual.

Tutoring Experience:

I worked as an educator assistant for a period of 10 months. I used to assist teachers with their daily work fortunately enough I was given an opportunity to teach and that exposure helped me a lot because I learnt how to interact with students, I learnt classroom management and I also learnt the importance of lesson preparation. The reason I was given this opportunity it is because I had formed them I'm a student with a wish to become a teacher some day therefore I'd appreciate being put in the field which will enhance my teaching skills.

Tutoring Approach:

To effectively tutor students,I need to start by understanding their strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. This will help me tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. Next, it is to set clear goals with the student, identifying what they want to achieve and creating a plan to get there. During sessions, I want to make the learning experience interactive by using engaging activities, examples, and discussions. Break down complex concepts into manageable steps, and encourage practice and provide constructive feedback. Also it is important I foster curiosity and critical thinking by encouraging questions, and create a positive learning environment by being patient and supportive.
