Determined to assist you in achieving success in either Biology or English.
Afrikaans is my home language so please be patient with the pronounciation of some English words not being the quality of it compared to that of a Home Language English speaker.

I believe that each learner have the ability to learn once given adequate resources and assistance.

I do not give answers. I help you think the way in which your teacher wants you to!

Hard work is key. Nobody can take it from you additionally you can enhance it anytime, anywhere.

Learning does not only occur in the classroom or between you and your teacher. There are many ways to learn effectively!

Psychology is my main interest when it comes to academics and I enjoy working with learners who find difficulties in mastering subjects or comprehending what they are reading and writing. Working with those who require a patient educator is what I enjoy best.

I'm sensitive to your needs. Might seem too lenient at times but believe in punctuality and self improvement through taking a more gentle approach.

Tutoring Experience:

In my 3nd year of my Bachelor degree in Education for Senior and FET phase I've had 4 practicals in my 3 years as an teacher so far. Life Science is one of my passions. I do English as a second major. I've had experience with younger children as well, assisting with reading and writing.

Tutoring Approach:

I want you to improve as a learner and to become a life long learner.
I would prefer the learner to provide me with questions/problems they struggle to solve or understand. They should explain to me, not me to them. From there I will ask questions as to why? When they have a misconception I will assist them by correcting it and asking them to practice the certain conception/s. I'll refrain from reading work to them. They can do this by themselves. I will work through old question papers and give questions to them. I'll follow a behavioristsʼ approach. Perfecting a subject comes hand in hand with rewards and reassurance.
