Personal Description:
I am a calm, kind and generous gentleman who is passionate about helping others succeed in life, especially the youth. In my spare time i volunteer at non-profit organizations such as Ikamva Youth. I am involved in the Secondary School Improvement Programme by the Gauteng Department of Education in my school where i teach Life Sciences and Mathematical Literacy.
Tutoring Experience:
I am a high school teacher in Ivory Park township with 7 years teaching experience.
I have been a maker for NSC End of year examination Life Sciences from 2017 to date.
Tutoring Approach:
My way of tutoring is leaner-dependent. Firstly i try to understand the learning style and/or challenges of my learners then assist them in ways that suits their capabilities. In my assistance i use ICT integration often as it helps to capture the attention of most learners. I always make use of standardized study material and question papers to help the learners to get used to different ways they are nationally asked questions and help them know how each different question or concept is tackled in various contexts.
