Personal Description:
I am a well qualified and a very experienced Maths teacher. I have been teaching Maths in South African High Schools for a number of years. I enjoy teaching and get a lot of reward from helping students to fulfill their potential.
Tutoring Experience:
I recently retired from classroom teaching (after 30 years at various schools!!) I am however young at heart and have an in depth knowledge of the current SA High School Maths syllabi and exam requirements for both IEB and NSC. I have been teaching one on one extra Maths lessons online for 2 years.
Tutoring Approach:
I have a reputation of being able to explain work clearly and over the years my students have attained excellent results at all levels. My approach is to work from a student's level of understanding, and then to build from there.
I use a stylus to write on the whiteboard for online lessons.
