Personal Description:
An experienced UK and International School educator and leader. Recently returned to South Africa and tutoring online full time.
Tutoring Experience:
MSEd in leadership and administration.
5 years in London as a head of year and of mathematics.
6years at a British school in Tokyo as phase leader (Key Stage 3) and teacher of mathematics up to A-Level.
3years at a British school in China as Assistant head of senior school and teacher of mathematics.
2 years at an International School in Thailand as deputy head of secondary and teacher of mathematics to IB.
Tutoring Approach:
I believe that all students can and should learn. Maths is about confidence and the approach that all concepts can be explained in a way that learners can grasp. I also act as a mentor for learners further ensuring that they trust me to help them to be as successful as possible. I am patient and resourceful, and my tutees all flourish and thrive.
