Information About Judene - Ceres tutor

Personal Description:

I love seeing children happy and teaching them is the key to that happiness. I believe children learn best when I start with the knowledge they already possess and then building on their experiences. I am in my final year of my Bachelors of Education degree Intermediate and Senior phase through the University of South Africa.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been working as a preschool teacher for 4 years and 4 years as a ICT facilitator to children and adults. My current experience as a Intermediate and Senior phase student in final year, adds to my existing teaching experience.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach depends on the individual needs of the learner, based on real-life experiences and allowing the learning to think for themselves in order to develop their cognitive thinking skills. I start with content that the learner is familiar with and from there I gradually move to more complex work to broaden their experiences. I regularly check if the learner understands the work that we are dealing with before proceeding.
