Personal Description:
My name is Joe and I am a music tutor. I take Music Education very seriously and currently preparing for a PhD in Music. In addition to Piano, which I've been playing for over 20 years, I also teach high-level Music Theory and Composition, and Intermediate Guitar.
Tutoring Experience:
I've taught music privately for over 10 years as well as as 5 years secondary school music teaching. I also teach online through numerous platforms.
Tutoring Approach:
I usually create an individualised learning plan for each student where we would target specific goals. I also have a multi-camera set-up which makes the online learning process much easier. I do travel around Johannesburg to teach, but only in very special circumstances.
