Personal Description:
I reside in the picturesque town of Louis Trichardt at the foot of the beautiful Soutpansberg mountains in Limpopo Province. We regularly hike in the mountain or take trips to scenic nature spots.
Tutoring Experience:
My teaching career spans 28 years across various curricula including Cambridge IGCSE (Geography and Afrikaans FAL) and AS level(Geography) and CAPS curriculum.
I studied at TUKS and graduated in 1998 with a BA(HED) diploma in English FAL and Geography as my major subjects.
Tutoring Approach:
Learning should be fun, interactive and purposeful and provide food for thought.
In my experience students learn better if they know why they have to master a skill or content. Content should be planned and presented in such a way that students are eager and curious to learn more. Then they take ownership and learning becomes a pleasure.
