Personal Description:

My name is holly . I am a native English speaker from South Africa. I am 24 years old and I am currently at university studying education majoring in English. I live by the beach and enjoy swimming, diving and collecting shells. I love cats and have one of my own. I love teaching and helping others achieve their goals.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching English for 7 years. I started teaching in high school. I have a 120 hour TEFL CERTIFICATE and many years experience teaching online with students from all around the world and of all different ages. I have taught from ages 4-50 years old. I have experience in IELTS teaching, exam preparation, general conversation as well as all aspects of English such as grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, spelling and listening.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to make sure that I build a good relationship with my students in order for them to feel comfortable and at ease. I like to tailor my lessons to how my student learns best. I make sure that whatever is being taught is enjoyable for the student so that they can learn and remember everything they learn. I like to include games, speaking, role- play and practicing to optimise the learning experience.i am always open to suggestions from my students and their parents on how they want things done. Besides learning, I think having a strong relationship with students is important so that they feel comfortable and happy.
