Personal Description:

Hello there, my name is Helen. I am a friendly and loving lady who loves to teach students. I have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Toxicology, and currently studying at the University of South Africa for a masters degree in Environmental science.
Teaching has always been a thing I love and enjoy doing and I look forward to being a lecturer someday.

Tutoring Experience:

My experience as a tutor began when I used to have kids coming over to my house when I was a teenager, we studied subjects like, english, mathematics. I also tutored my classmates while in school, I have an excellent written and oral communication skill.

Tutoring Approach:

I realized most schools focus more on conveying lots of information to the students than ensuring they understand them effectively. My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep level of understanding and familiarization of the subjects. I will also assess which learning strategy suits an individual child and adapt my teaching style according to this strategy.
