Personal Description:

I have a passion for tutoring and love doing it.The money is a bonus!
I enjoy witnessing the positive difference that I make in the lives of those that I tutor.I have witnessed this multiple times and it has motivated me to continue doing it.

Tutoring Experience:

I have currently completed 3 years of my Civil Engineering degree at the University of Cape Town,which includes 4 courses of calculus that allowed me to continue to challenge myself in mathematics after matriculating.
I have 4 years of experience in tutoring young and older kids both online and in-person.I have tutored groups and one-on-one for high school,primary school and university mathematics courses and received many compliments for assisting these students in improving their performance significantly,
I achieved great marks for mathematics throughout primary and high school and have maintained my passion for mathematics.

Tutoring Approach:

I ensure that I learn what way of learning and teaching works for the student and adapt my methods to suit their learning styles so that they can get maximum benefits from our tutoring sessions.I make sure to listen to the student and have patience so that they are not having to work in an environment with unreasonable levels of stress.
I ensure that I regularly test the students knowledge on topics that have been covered and if they are still struggling,I ensure to do more to help them understand.
