Personal Description:

I am a Muslim female in full hijaab. I have taught Math in the Intermediate Phase and am currently teaching Math in grades 7 and 8. i have a passion for teaching Math and sharing knowledge.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching since 1990. Initially I only taught an Islamic vernacular schools but have gone into academic schools since 2008. I have held a management position since 2008 and have also taught maths since then.

Tutoring Approach:

I prefer a hands on approach with alot of Q&A and prompts/clues to get the learner to reach the correct solution on their own rather than feeding answers to learners with no undertsanding. Discovery and Inquiry-Based Learning are used alot. I also prefer giving alot of examples to solve so that learners are able to strengthen their relevant skills.
