Personal Description:

I am an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. I am a practising legal practitioner, specialising in debt collection, civil litigation, commercial law and deceased estates. I train candidate legal practitioners and paralegals in the firm.

I am a BCom law and LLB graduate from the University of the Western Cape and the University of the Witwatersrand respectively. I am a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society: Wits Chapter, which extends an invitation to students who form part of the Top 15% of their respective programme. I am currently in my final year of my LLM degree, specialising in Corporate Law. I am also enrolled for the SLP in Compliance Management course at the University of Johannesburg.

Tutoring Experience:

I tutored high school students Mathematics and English (Home Language) during 2012 - 2016. I also tutored second and third year law students modules including but not limited to Law of Persons, Law of Delict, Constitutional Law and Company Law.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a holistic approach in my teaching methods. I aim to engage a student in the teaching and learning process by prompting both personal and collective responsibility. This means that I hold myself accountable for the dissemination of the information I impute to the student, whilst prompting the student to be accountable for the effort they put into learning. I am very patient and aim to communicate terms as simply as possible. I have the firm belief that there are no stupid questions. I encourage debate and questions, which will invariably make the learning experience more fruitful.
