I am a fully bilingual, fluent in both English and Afrikaans. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Art History (obtained with distinction) and I am a certified TEFL teacher.
I have lived and worked abroad, in the UK and the Netherlands. I have extensive experience assisting individuals with their conversational English.
I have almost 10 years' experience working for a non-profit organisation. I acquired wide-raging experience working with corporate and governmental institutions, foundations and trusts.

I have more than 5 years experience tutoring and lecturing at the university level. I also recently completed the Level 5 TEFL certificate with the TEFL Academy.
I find working with students incredibly satisfying. I love building a rapport and learning from students as much as they learn from me. A highlight is that lightbulb moment when I can see on the student's face that he or she grasps a new concept or idea. I cherish that feeling.
