Personal Description:

I am twenty years old and currently in my second year of university and will complete my BA degree in English and Psychology next year. I achieved five distinctions for my National Senior Certificate, in all the subjects that I am tutoring in. I have a passion for English, specifically creative writing and literature. I enjoy learning new information and conduct independent research in my spare time on various subjects such as history, medicine, literature, and sociology. I am an organised and patient individual who is skilled in planning dates and setting goals.

Tutoring Experience:

I have no formal teaching experience, but have assisted my peers with understanding learning material and composing summaries throughout my high school career. I have assisted students from grades 10 to 12 with the subjects Biology, English, and History, with regards to paragraph-style and essay questions, as well as memorising content for tests and examinations.

Tutoring Approach:

As a past matric, and current university student, I understand that each student has a unique learning style that is important to master so that their desired results can be achieved. I am a patient and meticulous teacher that can work with individuals according to their preferred learning style. I am knowledgeable on the skill of summary writing and work revision methods to make learning material easier to understand and remember.
