Information About Christine - Bethlehem tutor

Personal Description:

I’m a homeschooling mom of two kids. I have Degree with Honours in a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, I graduated in 2001. I travelled and worked abroad for several year then I also did a Bookkeeping and Accounting course through Damelin in 2012.

Tutoring Experience:

I’ve been tutoring Maths in person for the last eight years. But I’m now choosing to do online tutoring and I’m focusing on Grade 8 for this year.

Tutoring Approach:

Mindset plays a huge role in our lives and the difficulties student have had up until grade 8 become a stumbling block. So I like to break mindsets by working systematically through sums within the students capabilities, building their confidence and slowly moving onto more difficult and challenging sums to build the students capacity. Where necessary I like to take the child back a grade or two if we need to fill in some gaps in their understanding.
