Personal Description:

I live by a simple mantra that your background does not determine your future rather your vision or lack of it does. Everything I have done to date is due to the drive drawn from my personal vision. I was born and raised in a poverty stricken rural community where education was an exception than a norm. Yet I graduated with 3 Distinctions in Accounting, Business Studies and Economics in matric. It is my joy and natural ability to offer what I have learned to others and assist them achieve their goals. I believe that we all want to do well in life, nobody wants to fail yet we fail every day due to the misconceptions and misunderstanding of success principles. Community development is what I live for, success of my learners, friends, colleagues, company, community and nation is what I work for.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored learners from Grade 11 when I was learner myself. I ended up teaching the whole class after school. I organized morning classes and Saturday classes to help other learners understand concepts they could not understand during our teachers class. I continued this approach at University and when I had time during holidays I would always go back to my former high school and teach a few lessons on accounting and economics.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is simple emanating from caring about the development and future of the learner. I focus on principles and concepts the learner needs to master for a topic rather than a specific example and impartation of learning skills the learner may use across subjects and different topics as they progress. Lifelong learning and understanding of topics is my goal in each session.
