Personal Description:

I am a 31 year old male with a BA Law degree (Majors in legal subjects, Political science and English Literature, as well as a post-graduate diploma in HIV and AIDS Management. I have a passion for English literature and the subject of History, and I truly enjoy transferring that passion onto other people.

I am currently employed as the Content Engineer at a company that creates and delivers e-learning programmes for legal compliance such as FICA, the OHS Act, Competition Law, and Anti-bribery and Corruption.

I was born in raised in Paarl, and spent 2 years teaching in the Republic of Korea in what was an incredible experience.

I love the outdoors, especially being out in the mountains, or struggling to learn how to surf!

Tutoring Experience:

2 years as an EFL teacher in the Republic of Korea, with a focus on writing and comprehension skills.

I spent 18 months in the role of a trainer/manager at a production company, training and developing a group of young women who had just finished school.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring begins with establishing rapport with the student, to ensure that my delivery of the learning material is appropriate to the needs of the learner and done in a manner that generates and promotes enthusiasm and enjoyment of the subject material. I ensure that I am up to date and knowledgeable about the content that requires learning assistance at any given moment, and I endeavour to make the process as relatable to the working world as I possibly can.
