After a thorough written assessment, to highlight the specific learning needs of each student, individually tailored units are developed containing sequential, step by step teaching and learning to enhance knowledge and understanding in combinations of the following

●Problem solving.
●Past paper coaching.
●Revision techniques and strategies.

To consolidate and monitor the progress of each student, formal assessments are conducted at the end of each unit.

Tutoring Experience:

30 years teaching experience in New Zealand (8 yrs) , Middle East (16 yrs) and UK (6 yrs), teaching Primary and Secondary aged students. Extensive experience and excellent results with CAIE Cambridge IGCSE and NCEA Level 1.

For 16 years, before retirement, I was the Executive Principal of three international schools, where I taught Mathematics and Science to years 5 - 11. In addition, I have also taught these subjects, plus English, Numeracy, Literacy and ICT in NZ state sector schools in Whakatane, for almost 8 years.

Tutoring Approach:

I used research based teaching methodology, which has been tried and tested with thousands of students.

I specialise in preparing Y6 - 10 for NCEA Level 1 Mathematics / Science and raising attainment levels, motivation and interest in the subject.
