Information About Tim - Maungatapere tutor

Personal Description:

I have been a teacher for 45years, 30 of them as a principal in semi-rural and rural schools,a music specialist at an Intermediate school, taught how to teach instrumental music to teachers,written music for school music programmes for Yr 3-8 teachers, I still teach extension maths to Yr 7&8 pupils, and consider myself to be an excellent all round teacher.

Teacher in charge of Music and Mathex teams
Over the years I have coached two Northland champion Mathex teams from my school , one second place and one third place

Tutoring Approach:

I try to make learning a positive experience by using games as an inducement to want to learn . I also use the principle of self improvement by challenge. I also am regarded by parents as an excellent teacher.
