I am a 32 year old, who enjoys sports and self improvement. I have years of experience tutoring and enjoy turning children's perception of learning into a positive one. I enjoy harnessing interests and engaging with people. I am an open and approachable person, who enjoys receiving feedback and having open discussions. Tutoring Experience:

Current Y5/6 Teacher.
Previous experience in Years 1 - 6 in three different schools, both Uk and NZ.
3 Year English Degree, 1 Year certificate in Education. ESOL Qualified. 10+ years Experience.
Currently in a leadership role that looks after 90 children's progress. Currently trusted to oversea technology and maintenance of digitech at school.
I have previously been the lead practitioner for maths, grammar (UK), English, Forest School and Technology.
Have tutored previously in both the UK and NZ.

Tutoring Approach:

Lessons are way to gauge prior knowledge and build upon what is already known. Using lesson assessment. I will be able t recognise the areas of learning that we need to focus on. Having previously tutored in the UK, I enjoyed working with the family to build s picture of what works for you and what your concerns/needs are.

Lessons will consist of a starter task to build confidence, warm up and for assessment purposes. A main teaching session with consistent and clear modelling. A task for your child to complete with support. There is also an option for me to supply linked homework for practice.

Lessons are 1 hour long and are aimed at age 13 and below. I am able to cover the full range of the curriculum. I specialise in NZ and UK Curriculums.
