Personal Description:
Hi there! I am an experienced Visual Arts teacher at primary and high schools mainly in Singapore and Sydney. I have a PDGE fron Singapore, an MFA from Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Design and a BFA from Tsinghua University, Beijing. I am now currently a freelance illustrator based in Auckland with my partner.
Tutoring Experience:
I am experienced in teaching art fundamentals like perspective, colour and figure drawing. I have assisted high school students in their GCSE O level art examinations through the use of dry, wet and digital mediums.
Tutoring Approach:
Everyone is unique. Lessons will be designed to suit your learning standards, needs and interests. There are a plethora of free drawing and painting youtubes out there, but a personalised approach will ensure that your skills and interests are taken into account. My broad based knowledge in art and design will inspire you to keep going for what you would like to achieve in your projects.
