Information About Ross - Auckland tutor

Personal Description:

My name is Ross and I am an Auckland based guitar and bass tutor. I'm an enthusiastic teacher who picked the guitar up 16 years ago and has never put it down since. I've taught a wide range of genre's - and welcome students pick the songs they want to learn. I have taught people from as young as 7 up to adults in their fifties. I can either teach from my house in Pt Chev or travel to your place to teach if more convenient. I make use of pro tools recording software and have spare instruments if needed.

Tutoring Experience:

3 1/2 years teaching experience in primary and high schools. Have taught privately for several years

Tutoring Approach:

I like to establish what a student is looking to achieve on their instrument and then prepare lessons accordingly. I have taught hundreds of different students and many different genres from things such as Jazz, Blues and Reggae to rock, punk and metal. I teach acoustic and electric style playing and make use of resources such as guitar pro and recording software to enchance the lessons.
