Personal Description:
I studied Biology on an old fashioned Diplom after seven years of university.
After the fundamental studies (years 1-3), I picked as major Zoology, while my minors were Genetics, Neurobiology and Medical Psychology.
Straight after my degree I came to New Zealand to do my PhD in Marine Biology.
Since I finished my PhD, I developed an experimental Abalone hatchery, taught biology at a high school and gave a seminar at a tertiary institute.
During and after my studies, I supervised nine biology students in internships and field trips.
I frequently participate in national and international conferences.
At the end of last year, I started my own consulting company for Marine Biology.
Tutoring Experience:
-Supervised 9 internships of national and international students.
-Taught Biology for 4months at year 8,9, 10&11 in context of a local program to developed and Abalone hatchery.
-Hold a seminar at a tertiary institute.
Tutoring Approach:
I am keen to help my students to find the answer and discuss the concept. I believe only in this way is it possible to learn science.
