Personal Description:
I am a fourth-year university student at the University of Auckland completing my Food Science and Nutrition degree.
Tutoring Experience:
I have been tutoring primary and secondary level math for 5 years and have been teaching children Arabic for 7 years. I have also held a children's workshop, teaching them about the basics of acids and bases during a Children's Science Fun Day.
Tutoring Approach:
I would screen for any existing gaps of knowledge. Then I would use visual aids to help kids visualize the concept. The goal by the end of the first few lessons is to have planted seed confidence within the very subject they were once struggling in and then help that grow. Through the concept of divide and conquer difficult concepts can be overcome. The key to achieve these results is with patience.
