Personal Description:

I’m a positive, intuitive and flexible tutor, focused on understanding the specific learning style and needs of each student and catering to them. I believe in optimising my teaching to bring the best out of my students while guiding them in the best direction to meet their goals.

As a Master of Biomedical Science First Class Honours graduate and a current student studying 2nd Year Medicine (MBChB) at The University of Auckland, I believe I truly understand and am capable of showing students how to enjoy the process of learning and achieving their potential.

Tutoring Experience:

I have tutored A and AS-level Biology and English privately since 2020. and Biology for Cluey tutoring. I was also ranked first in NCEA Level 3 English at St Kentigern College the year I graduated and received the class prize for this.

I have considerable experience in preparing for Medical School entrance, having interviewed at and received offers to do Medicine at The University of Western Australia in Perth and The University of Auckland, and have completed the GAMSAT exam with a high Section 2 score multiple times.

Tutoring Approach:

I am available to tutor the following subjects:

1. Medicine MMI (interview): Pricing - $75/hour, or $200 for 3 hours

2. GAMSAT Section 2 Essay Writing: $60/hour, $150 for 3 hours

3. A and AS level Biology: Pricing - $55/hour, $150 for 3 hours

4. A and AS Level Unfamiliar Text Essay Writing: $55/hour, $150 for 3 hours
