Information About Neely - Neely

Personal Description:

I am very passionate about teaching and love to empower learners in a positive manner. I have 20 years of teaching experience including primary and tertiary teaching. I have also presented research outputs at local and international conferences. My research and teaching interests include art education, traditional and cultural knowledge, climate change and teacher education. I have published several research papers. I also take keen interest in poetry writing and have several online publications of my poems. I launched my first collection of poetry in 2018.
I hope to encourage those around me that it is never late to achieve one’s dreams.

Tutoring Experience:

I am a Pacific based educator with 12 years of primary teaching experience in Fiji and around 8 years of tertiary teaching experience.
I have been a Lecturer in Education in Fiji for 7 years. My qualifications include a Master’s degree in Education, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Bachelor of Education-Primary and a Diploma in Youth in Development Work from the University of the South Pacific in Fiji. Currently I am pursuing a PhD student in Pacific Studies and education.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach in a creative manner. I like to use lots of examples and teaching aids to enhance the teaching and learning process.
