Information About Morgan - Dunedin tutor

Personal Description:

Hi! I am a third year female University of Otago student. I am studying a BA majoring in Psychology and minoring in Education. As interest papers I have also studied some history and anthropology.
Next year I plan to go for my PostGradDip in teaching, aiming to eventually end up in Special Teaching as an Early Intervention specialist.

I am friendly, easy to talk to, a great listener and a dedicated student.

I loved English, History and Classics in High School, gained regular excellence and achieved an NZQA History Scholarship

Tutoring Experience:

In my year 12 and 13 I worked as an English Tutor at NumberWorks'n'words in Invercargill. I loved my time there and it encouraged me to pursue education as my minor.

Tutoring Approach:

I have a great fondness for the subjects I am willing to teach.

Tutoring would depend on the needs of the student, whether it is help with understanding and completing their homework or taking it further and extending their skills, helping them with more difficult concepts and enabling them to work to the best of their ability.

Primarily I will work with what they have trouble with or identify areas that we can work on together, work them through examples and build up their confidence in their abilities.

I can also help with things such as how to approach essays. I have a great background in essay writing and am eager to share my knowledge.
