Personal Description:

Hi there,
My name is Marwah . I am in my third year of Bachelor of Science majoring in Mathematics. I am a high achieving student with a track record of academic excellence. I have been tutoring students both privately and at different organizations for almost 6 years. I have a track record of not only improving my students grades but also being their mentor and helping them figure out how to handle anxiety around exams, difficult study topics, what subjects to take for next year at school and how to tackle big steps such as what degrees to pursue their passions when they are in year 13 and their future careers.
I have tutored over 100 students in Math, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and made a huge impact for their personal and professional lives. Outside of my academic life, I enjoy painting, arts, yoga and meditation.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring high school students mainly in year 11- 13 since 2012. I started off tutoring as part of an organization then I went off and decided to start on my own the last two years. I have tutored over 100 students whom struggled in their academic Lives and managed to help them achieve the results that they wanted. Some of my students now are respectful University graduates that I am very proud of.

Tutoring Approach:

My strategy to tutoring is to go over what has been done in the classroom at school. I would have my set of notes on my laptop that has condensed important material of what the students need to tackle (which I would have also emailed to the student). I also bring in some examples of past exams and solve them with my students. At the end of each lesson, I would assign homework and follow it up for the next lesson.
Parents involvement is very important to me and to their child's academic progress. I update the parents of their child's progress via email once a month unless there are issues or concerns.
I love tutoring so much as I have always planned to become a Mathematics teacher once I have finished my study. I love helping people and helping to shape young minds beats all.
