Personal Description:

I'm a passionate coding educator and founder of TechBuds, where we make programming fun and meaningful for kids aged 8 to 14.

With over 12 years of experience as a Software Engineer and a strong background in the tech industry, I’ve worked on building real-world software solutions using technologies like the .NET Framework and Scala. I hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Auckland and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science & Engineering, along with Microsoft certifications that reflect my commitment to professional excellence.

At TechBuds, I bring my love for technology into the classroom—online and in-person—where I teach kids block coding and text-based coding through fun, interactive projects like games, animations, and simulations.

I believe every child can be a creator with code. That's why I’ve designed a curriculum that not only builds technical skills but also encourages creativity, logical thinking, and confidence.

Tutoring Experience:

With a strong background in software engineering and a passion for education, I’ve had the privilege of teaching coding and digital skills to children aged 8 to 14 through TechBuds—our hands-on learning program designed to make coding fun, creative, and purposeful.

Over the years, I’ve conducted both online and offline classes, guiding students from beginner to advanced levels. My teaching experience spans across block and text based coding

In each session, I focus on engaging children with project-based learning that encourages creativity and problem-solving. I’ve also trained and mentored educators to deliver the TechBuds curriculum, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for all students.

My goal as a teacher is not just to teach code—but to nurture confidence, curiosity, and computational thinking in every child I work with.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that every child learns best when they feel encouraged, engaged, and empowered—and that’s exactly what I aim to create in each session.

With a background in software engineering and years of experience teaching coding to children aged 8–14, I take a patient, creative, and student-centered approach to tutoring. I tailor each lesson to the learner’s pace, interests, and confidence level, ensuring they build both technical skills and problem-solving ability—all while having fun!

I love using project-based learning, where students create games, animations, and interactive challenges. This helps them see real results and stay motivated. Whether we’re working on block coding or moving into text-based programming, I guide students step-by-step, helping them think logically and celebrate their progress.

Above all, I aim to create a space where students feel safe to explore, make mistakes, and grow—not just as coders, but as confident young thinkers.
