Personal Description:

I am an experienced Spanish teacher with a passion for teaching and sharing my culture with others. I teach Latin American Spanish.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been teaching English and Spanish for 14 years in primary and language schools, as a private tutor in companies, and online. I have students from all over the world.

I can teach:
Spanish courses all levels from A1 (elementary) to C2 (expert)

Conversation sessions on a regular basis

Groups sessions from 2 to 5 people

Preparation for an interview

DELE and SIELE preparation

Cultural awareness course. Planning your move to Latin America

Topic-focused sessions. Analyze and practice the uses of the subjunctive, prepositions, object pronouns, pronunciation, etc.

Tutoring Approach:

I have learned that a successful lesson is when the students use the target language most of the class. I know your time is precious and I want you to make the most of it. During our sessions, you will be speaking/reading out loud, and asking questions in Spanish between 60-80 % of the time.

My role: to provide useful materials, that motivate you to speak, to pay close attention to your pronunciation and the order and choice of words you use, to praise and encourage your strengths, and to provide you with practical suggestions on how to improve your weaker areas.
