Personal Description:
Hello, I'm Jennifer and I'm an expert teacher. I have 32 years experience teaching children up to Year 8/age 14 in many different school systems and online platforms. I teach the English alphabet, numeracy and reading, science, geography, maths, history and all other subjects.
Tutoring Experience:
I love teaching this age group because it is so formative: what children learn in these critical early years forms the basis of their knowledge and development into their teenage and young adult lives. It’s also a time when children are very open to learning and can take in a lot of new information in a short period of time.
Tutoring Approach:
I like to make my classes enjoyable as well as educational and use Powerpoint and videos in my online teaching. I take the time to understand each student and their learning style, creating a learning path that engages and motivates them. My students love my style! Many students have contacted me years later to thank me for creating a learning environment that helped them to reach their full potential. My students and their parents have described me as a kind, caring, patient, reliable, and a hardworking teacher.
I teach students in formal education and homeschooled. Sessions are online at a time to suit you.
